Jordan Thompson and Ant rogan boxed last night (8th Oct) in Droitwich. Thompson faced a very strong and vastly more experienced opponent in Shawn Hewlett. Jordan boxed beautifully with some slick footwork and accurate punching and was a winner on all the judges cards.
Rogan on his debut came up against very powerfully built A Badams and the 3kg Rogan was giving away were very noticable when comparing the size of the two men. Ant started well with strong jabs and controlled the 1st round. He then caused his opponent to have a standing count in each of the next two rounds with blinding combinations and came through a very convincing winner.
